EDTO Flight Planner: Circles, Coverage, ETPs and Weather

Draw the diversion circles around your en-route alternates, check that your route stays inside them, see the equal time points and compare live METAR and TAF with your minima. Learn the basics in the EDTO guide.

Training tool. It measures distance and compares weather with the minima you enter. It does not check airport status, rescue and firefighting category, MEL, fuel or your approval, and EDTO weather minima depend on your authority and the approach at each airport, not on the aircraft type. Real EDTO planning uses your aircraft's approved one-engine-inoperative speed and your State's rules.
Weather minima (optional)

Enter the landing minima from your charts for your aircraft category, and add the planning increments your authority requires. The planner then compares live METAR and TAF with them.

How it works

Colours: grey means within the threshold distance of an alternate, green means EDTO but covered, red means not covered by your diversion time.
